Back from the Dead is the fifth studio album by American rock band Halestorm, released on May 6, 2022 via Atlantic Records. In 2020, Halestorm's touring rhythm came to an abrupt halt and, according to lead singer Lzzy Hale, "I got into a dark place and had an identity crisis." Back from the Dead is a story about how I pull myself out of this abyss. This is a journey of mental health, depravity, survival, redemption, new discoveries, and keeping faith in humanity. On August 17, 2021, the first self-titled single from the new album, Back from the Dead, was released. From the bright start of the thunderous guitar chords and the screaming vocals, it becomes clear that this is the return of the new Halestorm. The filmed video masterfully shows the struggle of the band members for their lives. On February 4, 2022, the second single called The Steeple was released. The album was co-produced by songwriter and composer Scott Stevens. The project, like Vicious (2018), was once again produced by Nick Raskulinecz. Thanks to his efforts and the talent of the performers, Back From The Dead turned out – 38 minutes of bewitching pure rock, which you will listen to with pleasure.
